Privacy Policy

How we collect, use and protect your information

1. Introduction

LE Systems LLC ("we", "us" or "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website and in the course of providing our services, why we collect it, how we use it, who we share it with, and what rights you have over it.

We are the data controller responsible for your personal information:

2. Information We Collect

Information you give us

  • Contact form: your name, email address and the content of your message.
  • Direct correspondence: anything you send us by email, including attachments.
  • Client information: during a project, business details, account access and any materials you provide so that we can deliver the work.

Payment information

Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. Your card number, expiry date and security code are entered directly into Stripe's systems. We never receive or store your full card details. We receive only confirmation of payment and limited transaction information such as the amount, the date, the last four digits of the card and the billing name.

Information collected automatically

  • Server logs: our web server records the IP address, browser type, pages requested and time of request, for security and troubleshooting.
  • Accessibility preferences: if you use the accessibility toolbar, your chosen settings are stored in your own browser's local storage. This data stays on your device and is never sent to us.

Cookies

This website does not use advertising cookies and does not run third-party analytics or tracking. The only data stored in your browser is the accessibility preference described above, which is strictly functional and set only if you choose to use the accessibility toolbar. You can clear it at any time through your browser settings or the "Reset Settings" button in the accessibility menu.

Third-party resources

This site loads fonts and icons from Google Fonts and Cloudflare. When your browser requests those files, those providers may receive your IP address in accordance with their own privacy policies. We do not control and do not receive that information.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To respond to your enquiry and provide a quote.
  • To deliver, support and maintain the services you have engaged us for.
  • To process payments and issue invoices and receipts.
  • To communicate with you about your project, including updates and delivery.
  • To keep records required for accounting, tax and legal compliance.
  • To protect the security and integrity of our website and systems.

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information to anyone, and we do not use it for advertising. We do not send marketing emails unless you have specifically asked us to.

4. Legal Bases for Processing

Where data protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on the following:

  • Performance of a contract — to deliver the services you have engaged us for and to take steps at your request before entering a contract.
  • Legitimate interests — to respond to enquiries, secure our systems and keep proper business records.
  • Legal obligation — to meet accounting, tax and regulatory requirements.
  • Consent — where you have given it, for example by sending us a message through the contact form. You may withdraw consent at any time.

5. Who We Share Information With

We share personal information only where it is necessary, and only with the following categories of recipient:

  • Stripe — our payment processor, to take and confirm payments.
  • Hosting and email providers — to run this website and handle our correspondence.
  • Professional advisers — accountants or legal advisers, where required.
  • Authorities — where we are legally required to disclose information.

Each of these providers is bound to handle your information securely and to use it only for the purpose we engaged them for.

6. International Transfers

We are based in the United States, and our service providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where information is transferred out of your country, we take reasonable steps to ensure it remains protected to an appropriate standard.

7. How Long We Keep Information

  • Contact form enquiries: up to 24 months from the last contact, unless they become a client engagement.
  • Client and project records: for the duration of the engagement and for 7 years afterwards, to meet accounting and tax requirements.
  • Transaction records: for 7 years, as required for financial record keeping.
  • Server logs: up to 12 months.

After these periods, information is deleted or irreversibly anonymised.

8. How We Protect Your Information

This website is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection. We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures — including access controls, encryption in transit and limiting access to those who need it — to protect your information against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights over your personal information:

  • Access — to ask for a copy of the information we hold about you.
  • Correction — to have inaccurate information corrected.
  • Deletion — to ask us to delete your information, where we are not required to keep it.
  • Restriction and objection — to limit or object to how we use your information.
  • Portability — to receive your information in a portable format.
  • Withdraw consent — where our processing is based on consent.
  • Non-discrimination — we will not treat you differently for exercising any of these rights.
  • Complain to a regulator — if you are not satisfied with how we have handled your information or your request, you can raise the matter with the data protection authority for the country you live in. Exercising this right costs you nothing and does not affect any other right you have.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at info@lesystemsllc.com. We respond within one business day and complete requests within 30 days, as required by law. There is no charge for making a request.

10. Children's Privacy

Our services are intended for businesses and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated. If we make a significant change, we will notify clients with an active engagement by email.
